Monks Contractors are proud to announce that we are now officially ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 registered via BM Trada.
Monks have been working hard over the last year in order to ensure all our processes, procedures and plans going forward work to the requirements of these standards and after a lot of hard work across the board ,we successfully passed all audits and became certified earlier this month. This in return will ensure that our customers are getting the highest quality of standards and service in all that we offer.
Working towards 9001, 14001 and 45001 provides reassurance to all our employees, customers and suppliers in that we are working to a required standard when it comes to Quality, Health and Safety and Environmental practices.
To give those that are unfamiliar with the ISO standards to which we are now certified, please read the below overview on what these standards mean within a business.
9001 – Quality Management
ISO 9001 is for Quality Management. Quality refers to all those features of our service which are required by the customer. Quality Management means what the organization does to ensure that our services satisfy the customer's quality requirements and comply with any regulations applicable to those products or services. Quality management also means what we are doing to enhance customer satisfaction and achieve continual improvement of our performance.
14001 – Environmental Management System
ISO 14001is for Environmental Management. This means what we are doing to minimize harmful effects on the environment caused by our activities, to conform to applicable regulatory requirements and to achieve continual improvement of its environmental performance.
45001 – Occupational Health and Management System
ISO 45001 is for Occupational Health and Safety. It enables us to provide a safe and healthy workplace by preventing work-related injury and ill health, as well as proactively improving its Occupational Health and Safety. It helps us eliminate hazards and minimize OH&S risks and take advantage of OH&S opportunities and address OH&S management system non-conformities associated with our activities.
